Delivery and Returns

Delivery

Currently we now deliver within the UK, Eire and most countries within the EU. 

These include:-  Eire, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden.

If you live outside  of the countires we currently cover, and wish to make an order, please email us at sales@4feet1tail.co.uk first, to see if we can assist.

Most items within the UK will be delivered in 1-3 days, some items however may take 3-10 days, in rare cases you should allow upto 21 days.

European and Rest Of the World are made by Airmail and deliveries will take longer.

All our postage options are susceptable to actions that are out of our control such as extreme weather and as a result we cannot gurantee delivery within the time scales but we endeavour to do our best.

The delivery method used and costs may vary for certain products due to various contributing factors.

We will always keep you appraised at time of order of expected delivery times.

 

UK Deliveries 

Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded & Signed For Service

The first choice delivery option for our orders is by Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded & Signed For Service.

This service should normally take 1 to 3 working days to arrive at your door. However bear in mind that we only deliver once payment as been received and cleared. Also be aware that on personalised items at busy times it may take us slightly longer than usual to issue your items as they are all hand printed.

A signature is required upon receipt of your parcel being delivered. If you are out when delivery is made a card will be posted through your letterbox and your parcel will be taken back to your local sorting office. Royal Mail allow you a week to rearrange delivery or for you to collect your parcel from the sorting office, if you fail to do this the parcel will be sent back to us.

An extra charge could occur for us to resend your parcel.


How Delivery Prices Are Calculated

Our products each have a weight value associated to them. When you get to the checkout part of our store the weight of your items is assessed and you will be able to see the prices for each delivery option and choose from the drop down menu which type of delivery you require.

Delivery Of `The Mountain` Products

We carry a number of products from `The Mountain` range. Usually we aim to deliver these items within 3-10 days.  We do not always hold stock of these products, and these may be delivered direct from our supplier.

On occasion our supplier may need to source these imported products from the manufacturer  to fulfill orders. When this occurs delivery may take upto 21 days for your item to arrive.

Goods

Whilst every effort is made to ensure that graphical representations and descriptions of our products are accurate. We take no responsibility for any variations from these descriptions. For personalised products the colours on the actual product you receive may vary, we will always endeavour to get the best possible image we can but there may be colour differences and we take no responsibility for this difference. Where a personalised item requires design elements we will try to meet your requests but if we feel the requirement is unreasonable or unattainable we reserve the right to reasonably disregard the information without notice. If we issue a preview of a design we accept no liability for any differences that may arise when compared to the actual product.

Cancellation

For many items you have the legal right to cancel an order within 7  working days of receiving the goods. However, this does not apply to items which have been made to order or that are personalised for you. Goods which have been made to order cannot be refunded, returned or exchanged unless there is a manufacturing fault or is defective. Once an item in our personalised range is in the process of being printed then we are unable to cancel that order. If you decide you want to cancel a personalised item the best way is to contact us at contact@4feet1tail.co.uk  straight away quoting your order number etc, as sometimes we send items to be printed as soon as the order is placed.

Returns

In the unlikely event that you feel the need to return an item then please follow these guidelines.

Whatever the problem, please get prior approval via email before returning an item.

If you are not completely satisfied with the Goods you have received, return them to us within 7 days of receiving the Goods. If the Goods are returned to us within 7 days we will issue a full refund or an exchange. The costs of returning the Goods to us shall be borne by you.

 You are responsible for the Goods until they reach us. We recommend you use a reputable carrier who fully insures you for the full value of the Goods as we cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged Goods.

All goods will be inspected on return and any item in an unsuitable condition will be sent back to you.Please note it is very important that when you return an item, we know the web order number it relates to, your details and instructions as to what you would like us to do. Without these details we won't be able to take the action you want us to.

Please allow time for your return to get to us. However once received we will inspect and process the goods within 24 hours to ensure you receive what you want as quickly as possible.

You will be sent an email confirming the action we have taken, as soon as we are confident the goods are in their original condition.

 Your right to return Goods to us will not apply in the following circumstances:
a) Any product which has been made to order, personalised or customised for you specifically.
b) Where the Goods have not been returned in their original condition or with their original packaging.
c) If you have made a spelling mistake and your order has been sent to production.
d) If the colours of a printed item do not match an original file, photo or colour value supplied by you.
e) Where an item has been personalised with a photograph and the photograph was not of suitable quality.
f) Personalised products ordered incorrectly by the customer (Size / Colour / Image / Transfer etc).
g) Any product that has obviously been worn or used prior to return.
 

If you return an item due to an error on our part, or because the item is faulty, damaged or defective, we will replace the item (if possible) or refund the full value of the item. We will refund your postage costs if a postage receipt is provided. The items must be returned to us within 21 days of delivery.

Damaged Items: We inspect all of our items before shipping.  If an item is damaged during shipping you need to contact us within 24 hours so that we may contact our shipping company.  Please save the packing materials of damaged items for the shipping company to inspect.
 We cannot accept any liability for any loss or inconvenience caused by Goods which are damaged in transit. We endeavour to pack Goods adequately to help protect from damage in transit.

Shipping fees are non-refundable (unless we shipped the wrong merchandise).  Additional shipping and handling fees are required to process all exchanges.

It can take up to 5 business days to process returns once we have received them and credit card refunds can take up to 10 business days to appear on your statement (varies depending on your bank).  Exchange items are shipped based on availability from the manufacturer once your return has been received and inspected. We will contact you if we are experiencing any problems regarding any aspect of your return.
